Hello I would like to know if the extra grids are counted for the challenge.

I made and validate my daily grid for the 7/10/2014 at 8pm and thanks to the partner I had 6 more grids, so I made them and validate but in the challenge I can see that I only have 2 medals so only two grids validated.

So the question is, are the grids that we get are counted for the challenge?
Or is there a bug?
